Scholarships

We are now accepting new applications for Students graduating May 2025. Applications must be submitted by Monday, February 17, 2025.

Each year, Central Florida Women’s League Foundation grants Scholarships to graduating
young women, recognizing their potential and assisting them with their college tuition
expenses. We have awarded $693,500 to 240 young women to date, each testament to the power of education and determination.

Student eligibility is based on the following criteria:

• Graduating female high school seniors from Dr Phillips, Ocoee, Olympia, West Orange or
Windermere High Schools

• Extracurricular/Community involvement

• Demonstrate academic potential

• Possess a minimum GPA of 3.0 (unweighted)

• Demonstrate the need for financial assistance

The impact of our support is evident in the diverse array of colleges and universities our scholars have attended across the United States. These include esteemed institutions such as The University of Texas, The University of Miami, The University of Florida, The University of Southern California, Wellesley College, Emory University, Cornell University, The University of Central Florida, Florida State University, Georgetown University, Howard University, Florida A&M University, Vanderbilt University, Point Park University, Valencia College, The University of Alabama, and Yale University, among others!

We awarded Samantha a scholarship in 2021. Here’s what she had to say about our
Scholarship……

As a Windermere high school senior who applied to CFWL scholarship, I was unaware of the impact that the kindness and leadership of CFWL would have on my future. CFWL is not just a scholarship, but a door to a network of amazing women. The inspiring women of CFWL are great role models for us young women striving for a college education to be future leaders in industry. As a current senior at Cornell University, I will forever be grateful for the scholarship I received that helped pay for essential college supplies, but more importantly, for the supporters I have gained with that. I hope to continue to remain in contact with CFWL long after I have graduated and would encourage all aspiring college students to apply for the scholarship!
