CFWL goes beyond fundraising and granting funds to charities and scholars. Because we are a LOCAL organization, we can serve locally as well.<\/span><\/h4>\n

Our members volunteer to assist the charities to whom the organization has given grants. From organizing clothing at United Against Poverty, to providing a meal and social for Edgewood Children’s Ranch, \u00a0to checking in veterans and their families for a day at Seaworld – our members are out there getting to know the local community and offering our services to those in need.\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n

Our past projects also include donning pink hard hats to help build homes for Habitat for Humanity and beds at Sleep in Heavenly Peace for children who have never had their own bed. Each year, the Service committee selects charities to whom we have awarded grants and we roll up our sleeves to help them, to meet them and become a local resource for them. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
